The Georgetown Project
Bridges to Growth, one of several programs of The Georgetown Project, a
501(c)3 non-profit organization, needs clerical assistance a few hours each week.
We are open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 9 A.M. - 5 P.M. and
Tuesdays 7 - 8:30 P.M.  Bridges maintains a toy and parent resource library which
is open to the public.  We sponsor free and low-cost parenting and childcare
provider training classes.  We sponsor free children's events.

Our volunteers typically sanitize returning toys, reshelve cleaned toys, inventory
materials as needed, assist with children's events through providing childcare for
parenting classes; assisting the children with arts & crafts projects during
Creative Kids events; or helping with our Safety Fair.
Bilingual volunteers help us to interpret and assist Spanish speaking parents.

Our organization is funded through grants and donations.  Sponsorship
opportunities for the Children's Safety Fair are available.
